Five Vacations Five US States To Do It In

The US is one of those places that you can explore and keep on going. With fifty states to choose from it's undeniably one of the most diverse places in the world. Each state can offer you something different, and with us managing to see the majority of them, we are well informed to advise you of some of the best locations to visit. The beauty of the US is that it can cater to almost everyone's tastes, and there really will be a state for you that you will possibly fall in love. For now, we thought we would share five of the best, giving you a snapshot of what is on offer in each. Enjoy!

Colorado

Colorado is a Western state and possibly not one that would normally spring to mind if you were planning a US vacation, but it actually has a lot to offer. Especially if you enjoy hiking or more active pursuits. The Rocky Mountains national ark really is a treat and with excellent accommodation options so there really is something to offer for everyone. The largest city in Colorado is Denver, and it dates back to the Old West era. The oldest block even features 19th century architecture.

New York

The state of New York really is a great location and probably would be on your bucket list for one main reason alone, New York City. The city is a metropolis of skyscraper buildings, amazing sites like The Rock and the Statue of Liberty. New York city is also well known for its shopping opportunities, fantastic nightlife and amazing restaurants. You could also look at the Top 10 Hotels near Empire State Building for easy access to everything you could want to see and do in this great city. Definitely a place to see at least once.

Florida

Florida is one of the most popular states to visit in the US, and perhaps mainly for the thrill that is Orlando. With Walt Disney World, and some of the other amazing theme park options, there really is so much to see and do here, that you would be spoilt for choice. However, there is more to Florida. Miami has a real slick vibe and The Everglades are definitely a tourist attraction worth visiting if you love your wildlife adventures.

California

California is another popular state thanks to LA and San Francisco. Many like the idea of a road trip in California, giving you the opportunity to explore some of the other places on offer like Orange County, for example.

Texas

Heading South will bring you to the state of Texas. This state has very mixed terrain including forest and pine which is mixed with desert. Whether you like the idea of people watching in San Antonio (and who doesn’t like those laid back days) where you can sit and relax in a riverside cafe in a fantastic multicultural city, or you want to take advantage of some of the best live music around in the capital of Austin, there really is a lot for everyone in Texas. Finally, who wouldn’t love the chance to visit NASA in the city of Houston?

Let’s hope that this has given you some food for thought when it comes to visiting the US.
